Veterinary Check Information

All athletes must complete the veterinary check procedure before competing. Please prepare all required documentation in advance to ensure the process runs smoothly.

Step 1: Document Check at the Race Office

Please visit the Race Office first, without your dogs, and bring:

• Dog vaccination records
• Chip list
• Examination File
• Form 1 and/or Form 2, where required in case of medication

The IFSS veterinarian will check that your documentation is complete and correct.

Once the documents have been approved:

• Your Examination File will be stamped
• You will receive a wristband for each checked dog, which should be placed on the dog’s collar or harness

Step 2: Veterinary Check at the Barn

After completing the document check at the Race Office, proceed to the Barn with your dogs and the stamped Examination File.

The veterinary team will carry out the physical examination of the dogs during the published veterinary check opening hours.

If there is a queue, please wait for your turn and follow the instructions of the veterinary team.

Large Teams

Veterinary checks for large teams will be arranged by appointment. The veterinarian will come directly to the team’s stake-out area to conduct the examination.
