According to Swedish legislation, a dog with a docked tail or cropped ears may not participate in official or unofficial dog shows, trials, competitions or tests in Sweden. If the dog´s tail has been amputated for animal welfare reasons (e.g. injury to the dog), the veterinary certification must be shown.
