Important Pre-Check Vet Control for IFSS 2025 Dryland World Championship & World Masters Athletes (free service, not mandatory)

Given the importance of the IFSS Dryland World Championships and World Masters to be held in Minocqua, USA in October 2025, the most important international dryland competition organized according to IFSS rules; given the need and duty to ensure that all World Championship competitors and their dogs are in safe and healthy condition and have equal initial competitive opportunities; given the contradictory results and the inconsistency of the data collected during the preliminary verification of the documents of the dogs, voluntarily sent to date by some competitors to vetteam@sleddogsport.net the IFSS Animal Health and Welfare Committee and the race veterinarians have decided that all competitors may (are not obligated) send the following standardized form to the above-mentioned email address, completed and signed by their veterinarian for each of their dogs in competition.

IFSS wish in this way to expedite the mandatory dog identification and health check to be carried out in Minocqua, thus limiting potential problems and facilitating veterinary activities.

The veterinarian who will fill and sign this form, certifies that the dog has received the mandatory vaccinations (with correct boosters to keep validity) required by IFSS regulations, specifying the date of their inoculation.
The dog must be identified by the veterinarian through microchip detection (indicating the number and the date of application if possible) to certify that the inoculated vaccine corresponds to the identified dog.

NOTE: Competitors who have already received a confirmation in response to their email, sent for the preliminary verification of their dog's documents, are exempt from submitting the form.

Send your documents to: vetteam@sleddogsport.net
